The Game

Laserforce is a highly innovative laser game played in a massive arena with a space-age theme. Players are equipped with a vest style battlesuit and a laser unit. The objective is to score points by zapping opponents. Everything is fully automated and computerised right down to the scoring. Up to 30 players can stalk the maze at once. The aim of the Laserforce game in its most simple form is to zap other players to score points. Bonus points are awarded for destroying various devices in the arena such as the Generators, Alien Nest and Warbot. Our two most common games are Teams and Individual. To plan some strategies, check out the plan of our arena below.

Generally, in a team game you score points as follows:

Zap another player - 100 points
Destroy the opposing team's Generator - 1001 points
Destroy the Alien Nest - 1000 points
Zap the Warbot - 50 points

Useful tips

Make sure that you get the Generators and Alien Nest. They are worth big points. You destroy them by getting three hits in a row on them - one, two, three. If you miss on any shot then you must start again. Everyone in the game can destroy the Generators once.
When you get hit, hide somewhere quickly and don't show yourself until you are reactivated.
Avoid staying in the open, choose somewhere where you have your back covered.
We have a skill level system to level the field for our newer players, and recognize the skill of the very good ones. As the players climb up the skill levels, they are rewarded with special abilities.
In team games always have another player near you for back up.
When you come to play wear some comfortable clothing (like shorts and a tshirt) and shoes. Sorry no bare feet.
